Just like the D76 at a fraction of the price. Mixes with water quickly and completely as indicated in the instructions. Photo was developed in Arista 76 at 68 degF for 12.5 min with Arista EDU Ultra 409 film. Perfect!

Just Like D-76

I have only found that this developer is a tad more contrasty than D-76 but other than that it's the same. I just adjust my agitation a bit. I run a BW lab out of my house and I develop between 150-200 BW rolls a month so this being a bit cheaper helps.

Asked by: Rudy
If you use Arista 76 Powder Film Developer (To Make 1 gal) undiluted, it can develop about 15 rolls of 35mm film, or seven rolls of 120 film. With 1:1 dilution, you can develop twice as many rolls.
